An unusual flying object spotted over rural Essex has caused confusion, as residents search for answers.
The UFO was seen over Burnham-on-Crouch late last night (June 7) by at least two different witnesses.
Commenting on Facebook, Jonathan Waller said: ''I was driving home from Burnham at 11 pm and it was out over the marshes.
''I first thought it was the search light of a helicopter, but there was no sound. Then I thought it was a flare maybe but when I got home it was gone. I wish I had stopped my car and got out to look properly now.''
