The phrase ''little green men'' typically refers to foreign troops or paramilitary forces who dress in green attire instead of traditional military gear, the official said.
An article on Milley's comments appeared on Ground Zero Media:
''Is the US Military engaging in the possible 'Force Readiness' and engagement for the 21st century threat of an alien invasion? Was this an accidental or blatant slip up to indicate that there is a plan for the possibility of a confrontation with extraterrestrials?
Now when we are talking about hybrid armies, we may be thinking that perhaps the general was reffering to literal chimeras, or alien hybrids, or supersoldiers. While he didn't clarify what he meant, we would have to lean on the logical interpretation and that would be that the general was reffering to hybrid warfare, something we had talked about at the beginning of this year.
Hybrid warfare is a combined military strategy that would include conventional warfare, irregular warfare, cyber warfare, asymmetrical warfare and warfare that includes Artificial Intelligence and autonomous war machines.''
