The true ancient history of Petra, Jordan - Forbidden Archaeology

Hi tech stone cutting marks...Multi storied spacious underground apartments...
''Survivors'' architecture it its finest...at Petra, Jordan.

Petra means ''rock'' in Greek, fitting for a town literally carved out of sandstone desert cliffs. The ancient city of Petra is located about three hours south of Amman, the capital of Jordan, and was founded by a nomadic Arab tribe known as the Nabataeans several centuries before Christ's birth. The Nabataeans were renowned for their great skills in trade, agriculture, engineering, and architectural stone-carving.

Petra was home to some 20,000 Nabataeans who built in the midst of the desert an ingenious system of waterways to provide their city with the precious liquid.
Scholars suggest that only 15% of Petra is currently visible , 85% underground, undiscovered...
Petra was discovered by archaeologists in the early 1800s and it is one of the world's most famous archaeological sites, where ancient Eastern traditions blend with Hellenistic architecture.
