Eerie footage shows a UFO hovering over a like balls of light in the night sky.
Carole Thorpe who put the video on YouTube said it is the second time she and her friends had seen what she described as ''a reddish orange ball''.
She goes on to say it appears to be moving in a deliberate line from South to North.
The footage seems to show the object shaking and lights flickering on and off.
Ms Thorpe said the clip was taken at Grayslake village, Illinois, shortly after 9pm.
It has been reported to the National UFO Reporting Center.
Ms Thorpe said: ''They have replied that there were numerous reports that night and they cannot identify the object.''
''It is not a Chinese lantern or a meteor. There was no sound.''
