UFO spotted over Newton Abbot, Devon, UK

The unidentified flying saucer shape was spotted over Newton Abbot in January, and has been described as moving through the skies before vanishing from view, according to the Herald Express website.

John from Devon, took these photographs of the shape which had a domed top hovering in the sky. He spotted the UFO on January 19 at 1:10 pm and says he is certain the shape was an alien craft.

John has shared the picture online, and described his close encounter with the craft to the Daily Star.

He told them:''I had an incredible sighting on the 19th of January 2016 of a flying saucer. I got a very good look at this alien craft and all I can say is WOW! I was sky-watching when I noticed a black object far off in the distance in the direction I was looking. The flying saucer turned back in the direction from where it had come from and then disappeared off into the distance and out of sight. The black object got bigger as it got closer. I could clearly see that the object was in fact a flying saucer and I could see a dome on the top of the saucer.

UFO spotted soaring above Bristol, February 12, 2016

Bristol woke up to news of a sensational UFO sighting...just weeks after the return of the terrifying ''alien'' sounds that rocked the city.

The unidentified flying object was captured on camera by mum Fiona Powell, 41.

The picture reveals the extraterrestrial object - which looks suspiciously like a flying saucer - hovering just above Bristol's port area.

Fiona was walking along the promenade on Severn Beach just miles from the city centre when she decided to take a picture of the view.

But it wasn't until hours later that she spotted the unexplained visitor hovering in the image.

''I'm undecided whether I believe in aliens or not, but this photo certainly meets the criteria of a UFO'', she said.

The sighting comes after mysterious alien sounds returned to the city a year on - sparking rumours that an invasion might be just around the corner.

UFO spotted over Loch Ness

This image shows two mysterious discs flying over Loch Ness.

 Alan Betts was on holiday with his wife, Anna, when the group captured this extraordinary image of two mysterious disc-shaped objects flying over the famous loch in the Scottish Highlands.

The picture was taken by Anna's mum Tatiana, but it wasn't until Alan and his wife returned to their home in York and started looking through their holiday snaps that the bewildered couple discovered the strange white shapes hovering over the loch.

Alan, 48, who is the director of a refrigeration company based in Bradford, said he was usually very sceptical about UFOs but couldn't offer an explanation for the spooky picture.

UFO spotted at PGA tournament, USA, 05/08/2015

It was during the Players Championship part of the PGA tour, held in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida on May 9. A viewer was watching the tournament on TV and ''noticed a weird object in the sky,'' according to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). ''When you see the pictures, people may think 'oh, that's a blimp,' but after seeing the blimp in other clips, I can easily conclude it's not the blimp.''

''I also looked for other aircrafts flying by and nothing seemed plausible. The object did have a reflective surface. In the picture, you'll see a golf ball, a bird, and a flash reflection, while the other object is the unknown craft. You can also notice the object appears to be at a very high altitude for any aircrafts being used for the tournament. I rewind and slow motion, fast forward dozens of times. Very strange.''

According to the MUFON database, this incident took place at 1:45 p.m., and was submitted on May 12. MUFON does not release the names of the people who submit UFO sightings, hampering the ability of unaffiliated researchers to study such information.

UFO spotted in skies over St Helens

On Wednesday, March 18, 2015, in St Helens Star newspaper, Sophie Corless, Digital Media Editor, wrote an article about a strange UFO sighting over St. Helens.

This strange orange object was spotted by Star reader George Hunter hovering above his home close to St. Helens town centre. Described by Mr Hunter as a ''huge object'' that moved at ''warp speed'', it was seen just after midnight in the skies over the Raiford Road area.

Mr Hunter said: ''It was just after midnight and as I looked through the kitchen window I saw some very bright lights in a triangular pattern quite high in the night sky. I filmed the lights and zoomed in on them, but I only managed to get a short clip as the lights moved out of shot as I was filming them. They were very fast and gone in less than a second, it was almost like something out of Star Trek moving at warp speed. I am sure that this was no ordinary aircraft such as a plane or helicopter as it simply moved too fast and made no noise. I am convinced it was a huge object; it was much bigger and brighter than it appears in the clip. I suppose this could have been some type of military aircraft but it was completely silent and appeared to be to massive. I am stumped as to what the object could have be and I am interested to see if  anyone else might have seen it or have an explanation.''
