Something incredible found deep down below the Great Pyramid (Erich Von Daniken)

There are strange things under the great pyramid, what's even stranger is that we didn't get to hear about them.Do they show everything we know about Ancient Egypt is wrong and we have to be open to the possibilities that there might be another explanation.

Ancient Egyptians tell us they superseded an Earlier Kingdom

How over the ages have we managed to class History as Mythology you have to wonder, is it simply because the Powers that were at Play on this Earth thousands of years ago did not fit our understanding in relatively modern times?

By calculating the decrypted information obtained from the Papyrus of Turin, we obtain the initial period, referred to as the kingdom of Ptah, creator and first ruler of ancient Egypt, dating back 39,000 years.

Ancient Egyptian pyramid cover up?

The lost history of the ''unfinished'' pyramid of Zawyet El Aryan, Egypt, and the figurative and literal  cover-up of a pre-history ''pyramid'' just 4 miles south of Giza. Just how could the dynastic Egyptians possibly have done this jaw dropping structure?cover up,ancient Egyptian,

Ancient Nuclear War? What could have melted these stone steps at Dendera?

Dendera is an impressive and fascinating site, most intriguing however are the stairs leading to the temple roof. They appear to be melted. Made from solid stone it is hard to imagine what could have melted them.

The walls and reliefs seem to be intact, although they could have been re-surfaced by the ancient Egyptians.

It would take a tremendous amount of heat to melt stone steps such as these. What could have done this? There has been speculation of ancient nuclear wars. Looking at an image such as this it is not difficult to believe that there could be some truth to those theories.

3,800-year-old 'tableau' of ancient Egyptians boats discovered

More than 120 images of ancient Egyptian boats have been discovered adorning the inside of a building in Abydos, Egypt. The building dates back more than 3,800 years and was built near the tomb of pharaoh Senwosret III.

The tableau, as the series of images is called, would have looked upon a real wooden boat, said Josef Wegner, a curator at the Penn Museum at the University of Pennsylvania, who led the excavation. Only a few planks remain of the wooden boat, which would have been constructed at Abydos or dragged across the desert.

Secrets of the pyramids: Experts discover 'hidden cavities' in Egypt's Great Pyramid

Egypt's Great Pyramid of Giza could contain two previously unknown ''cavities'', scientists using radiography to scan the millennia-old monument said on Saturday.

On Thursday, the antiquities ministry cautiously announced finding  ''two anomalies'' in the pyramid built 4,500 years ago under King Khufu, with further tests to determine their function, nature and size.

At 146 metres(480 feet) tall, Khufu pyramid, named after the son of pharaoh Snefru, is considered one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.

It has three known chambers, and like other pyramids in Egypt was intended as a pharaoh's tomb.

''We are now able to confirm the existence of a 'void' hidden behind the north face, that could have the form of at least one corridor going inside the Great Pyramid,'' scientists from Operation ScanPyramids said in a statement.

Another ''cavity'' was discovered on the pyramid's northeast flank, said the researchers who are using radiography and 3D reconstruction for their study.

Operation ScanPyramids began in October last year to search for hidden rooms inside Khufu and its neighbour Khafre in Giza, as well as the Bent and Red pyramids in Dahshur, all south of Cairo.

Ancient shaft system under the Giza plateau of Egypt

In this footage, Brien Foerster reveals a vast system of ancient tunnels on the Giza plateau of Egypt, likely built at the same time as the Great Pyramids, and that was LONG BEFORE THE DYNASTIC EGYPTIANS.

Winged sun disk shrine found inside 1 of 42 new tombs discovered in Egypt

Forty-two rock-cut tombs and a shrine decorated with a winged sun disc have been found along the banks of the Nile River in Egypt.
The discovery of this necropolis, the burial ground of men, women and children, proves that Gebel el-Silsila in Upper Egypt was not just a quarry site for the kingdom's temples and tombs; it was also a bustling population center, according to the archaeological team that discovered the structures.

''This is actually a major hub of commerce, worship and possibly political [activity],'' said John Ward, assistant director of the Gebel el Silsila Survey Project.

A big mystery surrounds the new tombs, however. Where is the lost city of Silsila? So far, archaeologists have discovered tombs, the quarry, a temple and a slab monuments called stelae. But they haven't found a town or a village were the people who use these structures would have lived.

Electricity in ancient Egypt?

Hieroglyphs depict the ancient Egyptians using electricity with a light bulb...but how could electricity have existed over 4000 years ago?
In the temple of Dendara, one of the most secretive complexes of ancient Egypt, there lies some fascinating hieroglyphic pictures on the wall ...pictures that uncannily point to the egyptians using electricity. Sound imposible? Wait till we take a closer look. The evidence is almost irrefutable.
In fact, the ancient Egyptians needed a source of light to create all the hieroglyphs and drawings inside the pyramids and other places. Why weren't they just using torces you ask? Many places are way too small and don't even have a place for smoke to escape. Basically, if they used torches they'd very quickly suffocate to death...whatever room they were in would be filled with smoke.

Thus, there was a need of an alternative light source in places that would have been impossible to light with a torch or the sun. Otherwise, many drawings or hieroglyphs wouldn't be where they are now.
Let's look at a particular drawing deep in the temple of Dendara - we'll investigate what each piece of the hieroglyphs are depicting.

4,500 year old egyptian boat found near pyramids

Czech archaeologists have unearthed an ancient funerary boat near the Abusir pyramids south of Cairo, officials said Monday, in a discovery that could shed light on shipbuilding in ancient Egypt.
The discovery of the more than 4,500-year-old remains of the wooden vessel, which archaeologists believe belonged to a prominent member of society, was made at the Abusir South cemetery, an antiquities ministry statement said.
While members of the team were clearing a mastaba or ancient tomb, they found parts of the 18-metre-long (59-foot) boat covered in sand and lying on a bed of stones, the ministry said.
The remains were found buried near the mastaba's southern wall, indicating the ''extraordinary social position of the owner of the tomb'', Miroslav Barta said.
The boat's length and pottery found with it shows that it could be from the end of the third or beginning of the fourth dynasty, the ministry said

The lost city of Pharaoh Akhenaten

Akhenaten was perhaps the most interesting of all Egyptian rulers. Called a maverick by some and a heretic by others, he built a brand new capital in the Egyptian desert, which lasted a short time and was completely demolished by his enemies, the PRIESTS!

Akhenaten, whose name translates as being ''the shadow of Aten'' named his city Akhetaten (horizon of Aten) and founded it in or around Year 5 of his reign (1346 BC) and was probably completed by Year 9 (1341 BC), although it became the capital city two years earlier.

It is the only ancient Egyptian city which preserves great details of its internal plan, in large part because the city was abandoned after the death of Akhenaten, when his successor Tutankhamen, decided to leave the city and return to his birthplace in Thebes (modern Luxor).
According to Stephen Mehler, his wife Nefertiti and their daughters were murdered by the Amen priesthood, who swiftly regained power, and after using Tutankhamen as a puppet ruler, had him murdered as well. Akhetaten was completely destroyed by the zealous Amen power, and was lost until relatively recently.

Egypt: Tunnels and chambers in the Valley of the Queens

Brien Foerster: ''The location in this video are not seen by tourists, but thanks to the Khemit School, we were given unprecedented access to a small portion of a huge system of tunnels and chambers under the Valley of the Queens. Carved into the bedrock...''
